Our cookies are 100% vegan and baked in a dedicated allergen-free facility to ensure the highest safety standards for our customers.
Are your cookies kosher?
Our facility is 100% vegan and all ingredients used in our products are certified O-U (Orthodox Union). While The Dessert Board Company has not yet received kosher certification, we expect to be certified in 2026.

How long do the cookies stay fresh?
Chocolate Dipped Cookies: Our individually wrapped chocolate dipped cookies have a shelf life of 90 days.
Undipped Cookies: Our undipped cookies are shipped in an airtight container and packaged within 30 minutes of leaving the oven. They contain NO PRESERVATIVES, so they're as fresh as possible when they arrive.
Freshening Tip: If your undipped cookies need to be softened after opening, simply wrap them in a moist paper towel and heat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to restore their fresh-baked texture.
What is the best way to serve your hand-crafted cookies?
Our hand-crafted cookies are best served fresh upon arrival to enjoy their optimal texture and flavor.
Pro Tip: If you'd like to freshen them up, wrap the cookie in a moist paper towel and heat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. This will restore that fresh-from-the-oven softness and warmth!
How soon do the cookies ship?
We bake Monday through Thursday, and FedEx delivers Monday through Saturday. We do our best to ensure all orders are shipped within 2 business days of being ordered.
Please note: Orders placed after Thursday will be baked and shipped the following week to ensure you receive the freshest cookies possible.

Is your company eco-friendly?

Sustainable Packaging:
- Individual Cookie Wrapping: All our cookies are wrapped in NatureFlex compostable cellophane bags made from wood pulp (eucalyptus). These are Certified Industrial Compostable by BPI, USDA Certified Biobased Product, made with FSC Certified materials, and meet ASTM D-6400 and European EN 13432 standards for compostability.
- Product Bags: Our product bags are fully compostable and manufactured in the U.S. from recycled paper.

Are your cookies made in a nut free facility? In a gluten free facility?
Yes! Our cookies are made in a dedicated nut-free and gluten-free facility. We only bake and dip the cookies we sell - nothing else is produced in our facility. This ensures the highest level of safety and reduces any risk of cross-contamination for our customers with allergies and dietary restrictions.
Do your cookies have any preservatives in them?
No! Our cookies contain NO PRESERVATIVES - they're clean, allergy-friendly, gluten-free cookies made with simple, wholesome ingredients.
Storage Tip: For optimal freshness, store your cookies in an airtight container or in the refrigerator.

The cookie ingredients include Palm Oil, is it sustainably sourced?
Yes! Our suppliers confirm that the palm oil used in our cookies is sustainably sourced and certified. We're committed to using responsibly sourced ingredients that align with our values of environmental stewardship.
Do your products hold up in the heat?
We take extra care to protect our cookies during shipping to warm climates! For shipments to Texas, Florida, New Mexico, Arizona, and California, we include cool packs inside the airtight containers to maintain product integrity.

How large is each cookie?
Each of our hand-crafted cookies is approximately 1 ounce, and our chocolate dipped cookies are approximately 1.3 ounces - the perfect size for a satisfying treat!
What is your return/refund policy?
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our allergen-friendly, gluten-free cookies. If you're not completely satisfied with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll be happy to send you replacement cookies at no additional cost.
Please note: Due to the perishable nature of our products and food safety standards, we do not accept returns or issue refunds. However, your satisfaction is important to us, and we're committed to making it right with a replacement order.

How much is shipping?
Shipping Costs
We exclusively use FedEx to ship all orders, ensuring your cookies arrive fresh and quickly. All orders are shipped via FedEx 2-Day service (and sometimes arrive with 1-Day overnight delivery).
Shipping rates:
- $15.00 flat rate for all orders under $100
- FREE FedEx shipping for orders $100 and over
No matter what you order, shipping is always a fixed cost—never calculated by weight or distance.
